Ministry Vision Verse: “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” -Daniel 12:3
Mission (Goal): The goal of the soul winning ministry is to fulfill the great commission by reaching lost people in our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, encouraging them to be baptized, and attend our services. By regular attendance of services, they will be discipled through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God.
Impact Since Start: Because God’s people have been faithful to carry the Gospel to the people of Anchorage, we have seen many souls saved and lives changed. We have visited every door in Anchorage once and are close to accomplishing it again.Â
Difficulties To Deal With: The greatest difficulty to deal with is us - laziness, lack of faith, self centeredness, worldliness, etc…! If God’s people would simply get a vision for the lost, this world could be changed.
Special Notes (Things To Pray About): The prayer request is the same for any person that wants to be a great soul winner for Christ: We have got to have God’s power and humble, soft hearts of both the lost and the saved. The lost are dependent upon faithful workers that have a proper vision of people dying and going to heaven or hell. Oh that we would see souls the way the Lord does! “But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.” -Matthew 9:36
